IN A record-breaking year for the Optus Albury Wodonga Business Awards, Footsteps Podiatry has been named Most Outstanding Business, while Helen Spittal, Director of Albury Freight Distribution Centre, is this year’s Hall of Fame inductee.
Four hundred thirty guests, including the 73 finalists, gathered together on Friday, 23 August, at the Albury Entertainment Centre for the highly anticipated unveiling of this year’s winners.
In 2024, the awards garnered a record-breaking number of entries, with more than 150 local businesses and business leaders entering across 15 awards categories.
Along with the Most Outstanding Business winner and Hall of Fame inductee, category winners and a number of Highly Commended certificates were also awarded.

The Albury Wodonga Business Awards recognise and honour the exceptional contributions of businesses to our local economy and community. The awards are jointly run by Albury Business Connect and Business Wodonga, with both organisations continually working for the betterment of the local business community.
Glen Robinson, General Manager, Albury Business Connect, attributes this year’s awards success to the strength and resilience of the Albury Wodonga and surrounding region’s business community.
